Earthsave’s David Steele, Amnesty International’s Craig Benjamin

Dr. David Steele is president of the non-profit Earthsave Canada, whose mission is to educate people about the health, ethical, and environmental impacts of their food and lifestyle choices.  David is a molecular biologist who retired from the Faculty of Medicine at UBC in 2013, and he shares valuable information about the connection between animal agriculture and climate change.

For 15 years Craig Benjamin’s work with Amnesty International has included research and advocacy on critical issues including missing and murdered indigenous women and girls, access to basic services in reserve communities, and the social impacts of large scale resource development projects.  Amnesty International has declared December 10th a global day of action against the Site C Dam project slated for northern BC, and Craig tells us why.
And, Chris Cook with a “What in the World” update.
