BC Health Coalition protecting public healthcare, Save Our Bus Passes rally, Migrant Workers Dignity Association and the rights of temporary foreign workers

Rick Turner, co-chair with the BC Health Coalition, talks about the current effort to privatize health services that’s before the courts, how people can get involved to protect our national health care system. Also, voices from last week’s Rally for Bus Passes for PWDs (people living with disabilities). And, Alexandra Henao from the Migrant Workers’ Dignity Association with information on the housing, working and health care conditions for the 300,000 foreign workers under the federal government’s Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program.  Recorded at CFUV Victoria on the unceded traditional lands of the Coast Salish peoples.
