Women in the Walbran with Zoe Blunt, Meathooked with Marta Zaraska, What in the World with Chris Cook

Zoe Blunt is an ecofeminist and founder at Wildcoast, aka Victoria Forest Action Network.  With many years of organizing non-violent resistance to protect the last of BC’s ancient forests, Zoe is launching a Spring Action Training specific to the Walbran Valley which is currently being destroyed for corporate profit.  Then, Marta Zaraska is a science writer published in various journals. Her new book, Meathooked: The History and Science of our 2.5 Million Year Obsession with Meat, was chosen as one of the best science picks in “Nature” March 2016.  Marta shares some of her research, indicating that our primate ancestors were vegan for millions of years before scavenging animal’s kills after a drastic climate change reduced their chosen plant based protein sources.  And, Chris Cook with a “What in the World” update.
