Natural Systems Restoration with Peter Arcese, Media Democracy, and Restorative Justice Vic ED Gillian Lindquist for WOC June 4 2015

Peter Arcese is is Forest Renewal BC Chair of Applied Conservation Biology in the Department of Forest and Conservation Sciences and Faculty of Forestry.  Today Peter talks about the ways we can all help preserve indigenous plant species.  Then, Darren Alexander and what to expect from this weekend’s Media Democracy event.  And, Gillian Lindquist, Executive Director at Restorative Justice Victoria, explains what RJ is, how it works, and why it’s an important alternative to the dominant crime and punishment system.
