Bry Boesen “I Took My Parents to Burning Man,” and Brenda Davis, co-author of “Becoming Vegan” for Winds of Change Sept 25 14

Since its beginnings in 1986 Burning Man has evolved into an annual “create a city” event hosting 70,000 people in the desert of Nevada.  Bry Boesen and his film school friends created a documentary, Taking My Parents to Burning Man, and he explains what Burning Man is, why it’s so freakin’ cool, and a bit about the movie itself.  In the second half Brenda Davis, co-author (with Vesanto Melina) of the award winning book Becoming Vegan, shares incredible research findings about the health benefits (for both humans and the planet) of a plant-based diet.  Working with Marshall Islanders, they’re reducing and eliminating diabetes among the native population.
