Winds of Change: Gerry Bill and Cuba Caravan, Dave Shishkoff and Vegan Fest

The Caravan to Cuba is preparing for departure, this being the 24th, and this year the focus is on reconstruction.  Santiago, in the eastern part of Cuba, was hit hard by hurricane Sandy, and caravanistas will be working to rebuild homes, schools, hospitals, etc.  Gerry Bill is a veteran caravanista, bringing us an update on changes to the caravan, also stories from his recent travels to Vietnam, and Fresno’s new and exciting Eco-Village.  In the second half Dave Shishkoff, from Friends of Animals, tells us about the 2nd annual Vegan Fest scheduled for July 1st in market square, also some of the work FoA is involved with locally (sparing the deer) and internationally (liberating horses from city streets).
