Winds of Change: Priscilla Feral from Friends of Animals, Eric Nordal and Social Coast

Priscilla Feral has built a career informing and promoting the rights of animals.  Now President of the small but powerful Friends of Animals organization based in Connecticut, she oversees additional projects including Primarily Primates – a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees and other primates located near San Antonio Texas.  And from Victoria, Eric Nordal explains how Social Coast’s “Taking the Names Down from the Hill” project is educating residents about the colonialist history of some of the place names we reference.  With the Idle No More revolution underway, perhaps it’s time to shift away from celebrating the genocide of First Nations by considering some name upgrades.
