Cafe Simpatico – Travels to Ecuador, impacts of Canadian mining corporations

A local family (Nedjo, Rosemary, and Charlotte) spent a couple of months in Ecuador.  They worked on organic farms, got to know some of the resident activists, and learned about the impacts of Canadian mining corporations and how the otherwise popular government is using its military and police to oppress any resistance to those.  It’s without the slide show, but the audio is compelling.
