Winds of Change Feb 14 2013: Eribert Charles and BC Black History Society, Jake Conroy and Animal Rights

From the BC Black History Awareness Society, Eribert Charles (known as Charles) talks about the activities and events planned for the remainder of Black History month, and about some of the activities they’ve already presented.  Eric Nordal from Social Coast with an update on Victoria’s activist Valentine’s Day plans, and a segment from Mehdi Najari (host of the Hidden News at CFUV) about Islamaphobia.  Then, Jake Conroy talks about his involvement with the Stop Huntington Animal Cruelty organization, and his conviction resulting form involvement with a website that promotes peaceful non-violent protest to raise awareness about the torture and murder of animals inside Huntington Labs and other such places that contract to various corporations.
