Winds of Change – Blueskywoman and #idlenomore, Eric and SocialCoast.ca, Public Forum re: Victoria’s Waterfront

Originally from Attawapiskat, Blueskywoman has fasted in solidarity with her Chief, Theresa Spence, now in her 10th day and living in a teepee near Ottawa.  Theresa’s efforts have sparked the Idle No More movement (search #idlenomore on twitter), which is uniting indigenous people and their allies all around the world.  Then, an update from Eric Nordal about local responses to the  Kinder Morgan and Enbridge pipeline proposals, and a pre-recorded segment from a public forum discussing the potential future for the small amount of public land that remains in Victoria’s Inner Harbour.  (Full audio from the public meeting is available here.)
