Winds of Change, October 27 2011: Bill King (representing the People’s Assembly aka “Occupy Victoria”) and Mayoral Candidate Steve Filipovic

After investing time at the People’s Assembly of Victoria, Bill King has informed his University of Victoria instructors that he’ll be completing his Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution based on the revolutionary camp.  I spoke with Bill about some of the day to day challenges at the camp, about the importance of naming and why Victoria’s revolutionaries have labelled themselves something other than “Occupy Victoria,” and about the ways people can get involved and support the camp.  In the second half, Bill and I ask Mayoral candidate Steve Filipovic what his plans are for our city, for the camp, and for the future generally.
