Winds of Change October 13 2011: David Eby and Chris Dixon

As we approach October 15th, David Eby (Lawyer, and Executive Director of the BC Civil Liberties Association) talks about our rights as citizens, activists, and journalists. Protecting our right to freedom of expression is an important part of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, though the line is sometimes blurred between our actual rights as individuals, and acts of civil disobedience, and the ways police sometimes behave.  In the second half Chris Dixon, anarchist and indigenous rights activist, shares some of his knowledge from his days organizing the WTO protests in Seattle 1999, from his recent experience on Wall street, and his understanding of the current movement sweeping across North America.
