Winds of Change: Victoria Street Soccer, and Friendshipment to Caravan update

The newly formed Victoria Dreams soccer team is celebrating the selection of one of their own to represent Canada in this year’s Homeless World Cup to be held in Paris France August 21st-28th.  Katie DeRosa tells the story of the Victoria street soccer team, currently preparing for a Dreams in Paris Tournament July 23rd & 24th.  Then, Chris Cook from Gorilla Radio (airs 5-6 pm Mondays at CFUV) provides a brief synopsis and update on the humanitarian aid flotilla attempting to reach Gaza, Palestine.  And, the Pastors for Peace Friendshipment to Cuba will arrive in Fresno California today.  Caravanista Gerry Bill tells us why he continues to volunteer for this project, and what it’s all about.
